These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Between Us. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
Between Us is intended for adults in a relationship with each other. Given its themes (intimacy, conflict, grief, mental health), the app is rated for mature audiences and is not intended for anyone under 17.
Between Us provides conversation prompts, journaling tools, and light reflections. It is not therapy, counselling, or medical advice, and the “Coach” feature is a simple rules-based reflection tool, not a licensed professional or a diagnostic service. If you or your partner are experiencing a mental health crisis, domestic violence, or thoughts of self-harm, please contact a qualified professional or a crisis service in your country rather than relying on this app.
You own the journal entries, timeline memories, and other content you create in the app. Since this content stays on your device in the current version, you are responsible for backing it up — we cannot recover it if your device is lost, reset, or the app is uninstalled.
Premium is offered as an auto-renewing subscription billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Pricing, billing cycle, and cancellation are managed through your Apple ID or Google Account settings, not within the app itself. Refunds are subject to Apple's and Google's own refund policies.
The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Between Us and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including outcomes of conversations, decisions, or disclosures made using the app's prompts.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer guarantee you're entitled to under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
